Accreditation
IHM Academy of EMS is approved by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services. The IHM Academy of EMS Paramedic Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). The Paramedic Program is a consortium with partners Abbott Ambulance Inc. dba IHM Academy of EMS and Columbia Southern University. IHM Academy of EMS maintains an articulation agreement with Columbia Southern University for students seeking to transfer credits for an Associate or Bachelor’s degree. IHM Academy of EMS is a satellite Training Center through NCTI for American Heart Association courses.
